Greenwich Time- A 12-year-old boy was in critical condition as of Friday night after being struck by a car near the intersection of East Putnam Avenue and Robertson Lane, police said.
The boy was in the area with a couple of friends around 8:30 p.m. when he was struck, said Sgt. Michael O`Connor, who released few additional details about the accident. The boy was taken to Stamford Hospital.
O`Connor said he didn`t anticipate any charges against the driver, who had stopped after hitting the boy. O`Connor had no updates on the boy`s condition, but said he was moved to another facility, although he didn`t specify which one.
