Indiana girl, 2, missing more than a Week

(CNN) -- The mother of a missing 2-year-old Indiana girl said police are working "around the clock" to find her daughter, who was apparently taken from a parked car while her baby sitter was in a convenience store.

Jada Justice was last seen about 9:40 p.m. on June 16, when her 18-year-old babysitter and cousin stopped at a Gary, Indiana, convenience store to buy milk and cigarettes.

The baby sitter, identified as Engelica Castillo, told authorities that when she came out, Jada -- who had been in the back seat of the car and in a car seat -- was gone.

Asked by HLN's Nancy Grace if she questioned why Castillo left Jada in the unlocked car -- which was parked to the side of the gas station, not in front -- Jada's mother, Melissa Swiontek, said Tuesday, "I've asked her, and she just keeps telling me 'I don't know, I don't know. I was just running in real quick.' "

Prosecutors met Monday with authorities to review the case, but are waiting to see how the case plays out before taking action, said Diane Poulton, spokeswoman for the Lake County prosecutor's office.

"Nothing's been rejected," she said. "Nothing's been filed."

Swiontek told Grace she had spoken with the attendant at the gas station, who confirmed Castillo was there, and said her demeanor was normal until she left and then returned "hysterical."

Authorities have received more than 100 tips, and leads are being followed, Wendy Osborn, spokeswoman for the FBI's Indianapolis, Indiana, office, said on Wednesday.

Swiontek said Tuesday she and Jada's father had taken polygraph tests in the case. The two get along well, she said, and Jada's father has regular visitation with her.

Castillo had not taken a polygraph test as of Tuesday, Swiontek said. Asked whether authorities had requested that Castillo take a polygraph, Swiontek said, "They couldn't tell me for sure they asked, but I'm assuming if they asked me and him, they asked her."

Swiontek said Jada had never opened a car door and Swiontek said she didn't believe Jada could have opened the door of Castillo's car, which Grace reported was a 1991 Cadillac.

Jada is described as an African-American child about 2 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 35 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a light brown complexion. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing an orange skirt, a white tank top with orange and green stripes, white sandals and purple underwear, the FBI said.

Grandmother Says Rescued Girl Won't Return to Mother

(CNN) -- A 4-year-old, whose mother took her cross-country with her sex-offender boyfriend, won't be handed back to her mother, according to the girl's maternal grandmother.

"There's no way that I would do that," Mary Watson said Wednesday on HLN's "Nancy Grace."

Watson said she plans to follow the decisions of social services agencies overseeing the well-publicized case of young Haylee Donathan and will not let Haylee see her mother, Candace Watson.

"If (she) is not allowed to see her, she is not allowed to see her," Mary Watson said. "That's the way it is going to be."

Candace Watson, 24, and her boyfriend, Robbie Potter, 27, were arrested Tuesday in a raid at The Morning Star Ranch, a Christian communal farm in a rural part of San Diego County, California.

Authorities also found Haylee at the ranch and said they plan to return the girl to her grandmother.

Haylee had been missing for 27 days and the search to find her had been highlighted by national television current-affairs shows.

The grandmother, who received temporary court-ordered custody of the girl so an Amber Alert could be issued during the search, said she had not seen Haylee since she was found because she was being examined in California. Shortly after she was found, the girl was said to be in good condition.

"I want to tell her how I love her and we all love her and want her to come home soon," Mary Watson said.

Acting on a tip from former retreat visitors who saw a billboard of Haylee in the Las Vegas area, law enforcement stormed the usually placid ranch, whose members work the land, do household chores and share Christian beliefs and teachings.

The search for Haylee was sparked by authorities' concern for her safety.

Investigators say the three left Mansfield, Ohio, by car on May 28. The same day, Candace Watson and others allegedly had helped Potter escape from a halfway house, according to officials.

After she was arrested, Watson said she "was in love with him and knew she would help him any way she could," Pete Elliott, the U.S. marshal for the northern district of Ohio, told "Nancy Grace."

Haylee Donathan Wal-Mart Surveillance Video

NEW INFORMATION--Police have discovered a surveillance tape they say may offer clues in the case of missing 4-year-old Haylee Donathan.

Haylee disappeared while on a camping trip with her mother Candace Watson and her boyfriend Robbi Potter, a convicted sex offender.

Video from a Walmart in Marion apparently shows Haylee's mother aays after the little girl was last seen by family members.

The video goes on to show a man believed to be Potter in a truck outside with a little girl.

"It's just so hard for me to believe that she would leave her in the truck. I just don't understand it," said Mary Watson, Haylee's grandmother.

The hope is that the video paired with a $10,000 reward will bring Haylee home.

Nancy Grace Jennifer Buchanan Interview

I definitely don't feel Jennifer Buchanan, Neveah's mother, handled her Nancy Grace interview very well.

It was kind of hard having Nancy Grace ask her about her daughter's decomposition right at the start of the interview like that, but once again, she just went on again to defend and focus on George Kennedy, the sex offender friend of hers, and in my opinion, she doesn't seem to be a normally grieving person.

Not that it is a crime.. See the video for yourself.

Crazy Coincidences During My Jupiter, Florida Trip (3)

I've experienced three odd coincidences, which may only entertain me, but worth my writing about none-the-less!

[1] The day after arriving my cousins, one of their girlfriends, and I were talking about past Greenwich and other local teens who were killed in car accidents. A few hours later, I get a text from my friend Patrick in New London, letting me know the drummer in one of his bands was killed in an accident by a drunk driver. Another passenger, a mother, was killed as well.

[2] My uncle kept singing the damned Plain White Tees song, "1234" (There's only one thing, to do, three words, four you..). One night, his one and a half year old son was playing with my cell phone, and when I receive it back, I had a text message sent to my phone thanking me for purchasing a new ringtone! What ringtone was it? Plain White Tees.

[3] I was watching Nancy Grace with my cousin Mike's girlfriend, Cat, catching her up on a lot of details on the case. I mentioned the soap opera, One Tree Hill, and how Casey had supposedly been inspired from an older episode that aired months before her daughter was murdered, on Casey's own birthday. The episode involved a nanny kidnapping a child..
We flipped the channel off of Nancy Grace, and what was on? That very episode! AH!

Tonight On Nancy Grace

We learn the jail video recording was zoomed in for a close-up of tot mom's reaction to the discovery of Caylee's remains.

This revealed as part of sworn testimony by jail officers with Casey Anthony that day. According to female lieutenant Tammy Unser, jailers had tot mom sit in a chair at the jail's medical facility and watch the local news on instruction from the Orange County Sheriff's office. Both Unser and Sergeant Bill Richardson, also with Casey Anthony at the jail, testified they thought what was happening to tot mom was mean and cruel. (From Stacey Newman, Nancy Grace Producer)

Makes Me Think..

I was just thinking about this after hearing on Nancy Grace a second time (I haven't noticed the first) that the woman Chris Coleman was having the affair with actually went to high school with the murdered wife.

They made a pretty big to-do of the fact that she worked at a strip club, but to me- the idea of the murdered wife Sheri going to school with this mistress could provide some motive- like if she was an old close friend but having some weird Fatal-Attraction-style type mentality about Chris, realizing he's not hers as he's married and has two children with Sheri.

I mean they're heavy into religion as well you have to remember, he apparently toured around the country working for his church while he continued on the lucid affair with this woman from Florida. The mistress might've had jealousy towards the idea he had the ideal family and she couldn't have him?

Then, the whole thing with the message scrawled out on the wall in the house- 'I told you this would happen'. (*note, Sherrif's office clarifyed it's not the exact phrasing as it's been released, but it's pretty much the idea..)

Soon after the murder, investigators travelled to Florida, interviewed the woman, and several people close to her. Hmmmmmm...

So, what's the point? Well, at first I assumed this adulterous scumbag killed his wife and children, but now I'm questioning this woman's intentions.
Crazy.

Pa. Woman Charged In Alcohol Poisoning Death Of Her Baby, Who Had Blood-Alcohol Level Of .205

A Tunkhannock Township woman was charged Tuesday with the death of her baby by alcohol poisoning.

Jessica Ann Miner, 26, of 127 Church Road, Tunkhannock, formerly of Susquehanna County, faces charges of involuntary manslaughter, recklessly endangering the life of another person and endangering the welfare of a child.

Miner is accused of giving alcohol to her six-month old son, Mason D. Miner, on Dec. 10, 2007.

A coroner's inquest in March determined the baby had a blood alcohol level of .205 percent when he died.

Magisterial District Judge John Hovan released Miner on $25,000 unsecured bail. Her preliminary hearing is set for Thursday, May 21, at 1 p.m.

According to Wyoming County District Attorney George Skumanick Jr., Miner was charged under her maiden name, Jessica Ann Barlow, her name at the time of the alleged incident. Her defense attorney, Paul Ackourey, said she and the baby's father, John Miner, were married early in 2008.

Skumanick said investigators are still working to determine exactly what type of alcohol was given to the child, and how. However, he said he was certain that Jessica Miner was responsible.

He noted that when the initial blood alcohol tests came back, officials were amazed by the level.

"The blood alcohol was so high the lab actually tested it again," Skumanick said. When the second test confirmed the first, investigators sent the sample to an independent laboratory for a third test to make sure.

The DA said a manslaughter was appropriate because Miner did not intend to kill her child. As to why she gave the baby alcohol in the first place, Skumanick would not speculate.

"You'll have to ask her that," he said.

Miner would not comment on the charges. However, Ackourey said Miner maintains she had nothing to do with the baby's death.

"She's indicated that she's innocent and she's said that from the beginning," Ackourey said. "I'm confident that she'll be acquitted."

Ackourey said the prosecution's evidence is tenuous.

"I think the fact that it has taken a year and a half to bring the charges indicates there are some flaws in their case," he said.

According to the criminal complaint, township police were called to an apartment along Route 29, where the baby was discovered dead. When Miner was interviewed a short time later, she told police she gave the baby liquid acetaminophen the day before.

Miner told police she nursed the baby once during the night, and he was fine at the time.

The next morning, she told police she checked Mason and found he was congested and his lips were blue. She said she called 911, and a neighbor did CPR.

She also told police she called the baby's father and told him the baby wasn't breathing.

Police searched the couple's apartment that afternoon, and found 12 empty beer cans in the kitchen trash. (

Inmate Details Anthony's Response To Death Penalty

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orange County Jail officials are denying a report that Casey Anthony had to be restrained the day she found out the state was seeking the death penalty.

A corrections spokesman confirmed that a woman who posted a report on a Web site was in Casey Anthony's pod in April when she learned the state was seeking the death penalty against her.

The report is posted on RadarOnline.com and said that Casey Anthony was in a dining area and started yelling and getting angry when she heard the news.

Anthony is in the Orange County Jail charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of her daughter, Caylee.

“I have been able to confirm that there was no time in which inmate Anthony had to be placed on a restraint bed,” Orange County jail spokesman Allen Moore said in an e-mail. “Additionally, there is no indication that the incident, as described in the tabloid media, ever occurred. As we have stated before, Casey Anthony has been a very cooperative inmate who follows jail rules and has created no operational problems or disruptions.”

The woman, identified as Teri Narsesian, 44, said Anthony was screaming and thrashing in the bed. At one point, Thomas said Anthony looked at her through tears and asked her for help.

Narsesian was in jail for three weeks in April on charges of violating her probation for a bed check charge.

WESH 2’s reporter Bob Kealing will have updates on this story during the news starting at 4 p.m., plus an exclusive look at the woman making the accusation during the 6 p.m. news.

3 Yr. Old Briant Rodriguez Abducted at Gunpoint- Bring Him Home!

Yesterday afternoon in San Bernardino California, two men carrying handguns broke into a home and tied up Briant Rodriguez, his mother Maria Malana, and 4 other siblings.

After ransacking the home, and stealing some money they fled the scene with 3 year old Briant.

The youngest of the siblings, an 8 year old, managed to free himself and then free the other family members and they were able to call the police.

The father, Raul Rodriguez, was at work. At this point the Police don't believe it was a family abduction of any sort, and the family claims to not know the abductors.

California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert Late Sunday evening.

Briant is a Hispanic boy 3 feet tall and weighs 40 pounds, with brown eyes and long, curly brown hair. He was wearing a yellow shirt, blue-striped shorts and black sandals when he was taken.

Nancy Grace Blog: "Stacks" of New Evidence Released In Anthony Case

I guess "Old News" is still "New News", as I remember hearing about this a few weeks/month ago on Nancy Grace:

Friday, May 1, 2009
2 PM ET - Just revealed in hundreds of new documents from prosecutors, we learn investigators attempt to link 3 key locations in the Caylee Anthony murder case...tot mom's car, the Anthony home and the woods where Caylee's remains discovered.

But soil sample tests reveal no evidence linking Casey Anthony's shoes to the crime scene.
During the investigation, cops seizing 22 pairs of tot mom's shoes.
Dirt from tot mom's car also could not be directly matched to the crime scene.

Person of Interest In Britanee Drexel Case

Britanee Drexel is the 17-year-old Rochester-area high school student, that just "disappeared" while on spring break in Myrtle Beach, and was given some air time last night on The Nancy Grace show.

What we know:
Britanee was told by her mother that she could not go to Myrtle Beach for spring break but she went anyway. Friday night she went out with friends in Myrtle beach then met up with them again the next day at the beach. Saturday night she was with friends at one hotel then walked to meet Peter Broswick at about 8 p.m.. Peter Broswick claims that she then left his hotel room alone later that night.

What is being reported:
Last night on Nancy Grace we heard from John Hahn, friend of Britanee, that Peter's story changed a couple of times and that it just didn't add up. He reported that Peter claimed to have just left at 2 a.m. in the morning because he said he needed to get back to school. He also left without picking up his 100$ deposit from the hotel.

Let's see here, last to see her, now she's missing, packs up his things in the middle of the night and hightails it home at 2a.m. . Now after changing his story a couple of times he's lawyer'd up and not talking.

Here's a picture of Peter Brozowitz:

Nancy Grace Blog: Anthony Defense Strategy Revealed!

From Episode: Tuesday, April 28, 2009
5:30 PM ET - Do Casey Anthony's lawyers have an explanation for those disturbing photos of tot mom partying after Caylee goes missing, her shopping sprees allegedly using her friend's checking account and the chloroform found in tot mom's car? Reports are Jose Baez is comparing tot mom to a military widow accused of poisoning her Marine husband then going out on sex and shopping sprees using her dead husband's insurance money. The widow, Cynthia Sommer, would go on to be released from jail after it's determined her husband was not poisoned after all. Does Baez plan to use the Sommer's case as an example of how someone's erratic behavior after the death of a loved one does not prove they committed murder? (From Stacey Newman, Nancy Grace Producer)

1:30 PM ET - Taxpayers are still shelling out money and will continue to do so in the Caylee Anthony murder case. This time, tax dollars are funding a lawyer for the utility meter reader who discovered Caylee's remains. Already costing $10,000, Roy Kronk reportedly needs more even more money to get ready for the murder case. Kronk undergoing multiple police interviews and fighting tot mom's lawyers who want his personal cell phone records. Kronk is asking Orange County for another $2,500 and that number could keep growing. (From Stacey Newman, Nancy Grace Producer)

People Swallow The Strangest Things..

Casey Anthony, apparently after hearing the reports of her getting fatter behind bars, decided to swallow her fingers and continue to throw up most of her meals...

And from the commisary reports, it seems like a lot of junk food's being spewed out of that girl's mouth. People need to STOP donating money to this little bitch.

And why is she binging and purging?

In order to maintain a thinner figure, thinking it'd get her further in her trial if she's more "attractive".

Just speculation from Nancy Grace crew- but insane. I don't think they'd come out and make such accusations unless there's a good amount of credible sources.

And the other one to swallow things?

Melissa Huckleby. Before being arrested for the murder of 8 year old Sandra Cantu, she attempted to swallow THREE EXACTO-KNIVES. Ugh. I can't imagine the kind of mental state to be in to want to kill yourself that way.

Get some pills, bitch!

I'm waiting for actual legitimately written articles so I can post those instead of my second-hand heard information.

But crazy, nonetheless.
