Insider says Drew Peterson could make bond

JOLIET, Ill., -- An Illinois man accused of killing his third wife and suspected in the disappearance of his fourth has the money to make bail, an insider says. Ernie Raines, the father of Drew Peterson's live-in fiancee, says his daughter, Chrissy, told him Peterson has enough money to cover a $20 million bond, the Joliet Herald-News reported Wednesday. Peterson's lawyer has complained the bond set in the first-degree murder case against his client is way out of line and will seek to get it dropped to something more affordable. But Raines says Peterson has plenty of money, which he was using as bait to keep Chrissy Raines in his home. Peterson is accused of killing his third wife, Kathleen Savio. His fourth wife, Stacy, has been missing since October 2007. He is due back in court on Monday. (source)

Drew Peterson arrest: What happens to the kids?‎

CHICAGO (AP) — Drew Peterson, charged in the death of his third wife and suspected in the disappearance of his fourth, soon might face another legal battle: a custody fight.

The ex-cop had two children with Kathleen Savio, whom he's accused of killing, and another two with Stacy Peterson, who has been missing since 2007. Drew Peterson's adult son Stephen announced Monday that he has taken custody of the children, but relatives of Savio and Stacy Peterson are looking into whether they can change that.

"We'd seen a lawyer a ways back and were told we'd have to wait until he was charged," said Pamela Bosco, a friend of Stacy Peterson who has acted as a spokeswoman for her family. "We have to go back to a lawyer and see what's available to us."

"It's an issue that's moved to the front burner," said Martin Glink, an attorney representing Savio's father and sister, who filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Peterson shortly before his arrest last week. He added, however, that he hasn't talked about the issue with his clients or anyone else in the Savio family.

Peterson, 55, is being held in lieu of $20 million bond as he awaits a hearing next week on first-degree murder charges in the 2004 death of Savio, who was found drowned in a dry bathtub, a gash to the back of her head.

He has two boys, ages 16 and 14, with Savio and a 5-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl with Stacy Peterson. Peterson has long maintained his innocence in Savio's death and Stacy Peterson's disappearance.

CHICAGO - Christina Raines was not happy to see Fox Chicago News outside the Will County Jail.

The young woman who remains engaged and committed to Drew Peterson, despite his arrest for the murder of his third wife, arrived at the Will County Jail visitation center around 12:30 pm.

Dressed in Capri pants, a white sleeveless sweater and high heels, she chatted with Peterson for a half hour; the allotted time the jail allows.

The visit was in a separate wing of the jail. And, it was not in person. Raines and Peterson could only see one another through a video monitor and a phone handset.
Afterwards, Raines was in no mood to talk about the visit.

HBO: Drew Peterson not welcome on brothel show‎

CHICAGO (AP) — HBO says there's no chance Drew Peterson will appear on a reality television show set in a Nevada brothel.

In fact, HBO spokeswoman Tobe (TOH'-bee) Becker says the network would cancel "Cathouse" before allowing the former suburban Chicago police officer to appear.

Peterson is a suspect in the October 2007 disappearance of his wife, Stacy.

Peterson publicist Glenn Selig (SEH'-lig) said Wednesday that his client was weighing an offer from the owner of the Moonlight Bunny Ranch outside Carson City.

Becker calls that a "stunt" that HBO does not condone.

Brothel owner Dennis Hof (HOFF') said Thursday he's still talking to Peterson about a possible job, even though Peterson can't be on the show. Selig says Peterson is interested. (source)

RAINES: Of course, because he knows that I wasn't going anywhere and he knows that I was watching him. And so was everybody else. He made one false move, he knew I'd he there, that my daughter just call me and said something that he said to her, he know I'd be there. Wouldn't take me that long to get there. I wasn't afraid of him.

VAN SUSTEREN: The reporter we just had on said that your daughter's being questioned by law enforcement and may hire a lawyer. What kind of questions are they asking her?

RAINES: I don't know, but I'm taking care of that. I'm getting her a lawyer.

VAN SUSTEREN: Why does she need a lawyer?

RAINES: Because -- well, they first got her, and then she called me. And then I talked to her again last night at about 1:00 o'clock. She said they won't leave her alone. And I told her, Well, the reason being is you move out, you go back, move in, go back. Now they're thinking that maybe you know something. And you know, that's why they're going to be on you. Ex-Officer Peterson Charged With Killing Wife

Drew Peterson, the former police sergeant who authorities call the prime suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, has been indicted on murder charges related to his third wife, Kathleen Savio, the Illinois state attorney's office said.

Illinois State Police said Peterson was taken into custody about 5:30 p.m. Thursday after a traffic stop near his home.

Police had staked out his home all day, said police Capt. Carl Dobrich, but waited for Peterson to leave to arrest him out of concern for his three children, who were inside the house.

Peterson, through his attorney, denied any wrongdoing in either case.

Wills County State's Attorney James Glasgow said he believes the case is strong and said Peterson is being held on $20 million bond.

"This is an extremely grave and serious matter and it is reflected in the bond," Glasgow said.

Peterson's attorney Joel Brodsky told CNN's Larry King he believed the bond was excessive and would seek a more "reasonable" bond, noting it was the most expensive bond he'd seen in 10 years.

Charles B. Pelkie, spokesman for the state's attorney in Will County, Illinois, said a grand jury indicted Peterson in the murder of Savio, whose death had been ruled an accidental drowning.

Brodsky said in a written statement that prosecutors won't be able to prove their case because "he didn't do it."

"There is no evidence that links Drew Peterson to the death of Kathleen Savio or anyone else for that matter," Brodsky said. "Drew did not harm Kathleen; he has said so from Day One. We're obviously disappointed a grand jury indicted him. But an indictment does not mean guilt."

Pelkie said the grand jury continues to meet and is studying the possibility of charges in Stacy Peterson's disappearance.

After Stacy Peterson went missing in October 2007, media frenzy and police scrutiny on Peterson revealed Savio had died mysteriously a few years earlier during a nasty divorce.

Savio died just before the division of the marital assets was finalized, making Drew Peterson the sole beneficiary.

Savio was found in the dry bathtub of her home. At the time, the death was ruled an accidental drowning. But her family continued to insist that Savio died as a result of foul play.

The investigation into Stacy Peterson's disappearance brought renewed interest in Savio's death. Authorities exhumed Savio's body, further tests were conducted, and her death has now been ruled a "homicide staged to look like an accident."
Brodsky told King he believes the case has always been about circumstantial evidence and that he will bring a pathologist to trial who will say Savio died from an accidental drowning.

"I think the jury's going to see that, in fact, this always has been an accidental death and still is an accidental death," Brodsky told King.

Kathleen Savio's brother, Nick, told CNN affiliate WLS-TV he received a call from his sister saying Peterson had been arrested.

"The state police had been telling us the day was coming," he told WLS-TV. "We kept hearing it for about eight months. I'm almost in tears here. It's been so hard for our family."

"Hopefully, we'll get the justice we've always been waiting for."

Martin Glink, attorney for the Savio family, said they were hopeful the grand jury felt there was enough evidence to charge Peterson.

"We're very happy that the wheels of justice have continued to move and they are pointing in his direction," Glink told WLS-TV.

The news was also bittersweet for Stacy Peterson's family, who continue to wait for news about her disappearance.

"We have anticipated this coming. We have dreamed about it. We have been patient over it," Pam Bosco, spokesperson for Stacy Peterson's family told WLS-TV. "Now that it's here, it's almost a little bit calm. We're waiting for the storm to calm now. The calm before the storm."

Bosco said while she had not heard about any charges relating to Stacy Peterson's death, she was hopeful those charges would follow.

"We always said from the very beginning that Kathleen and Stacy had one thing in common -- and that was Drew Peterson," she said. "So, hopefully, we'll have news soon about Stacy, too."

Ernie Raines is also relieved about the arrest. His daughter, Christina Raines, is dating Peterson and was living with him before his arrest. Ernie Raines told CNN's Anderson Cooper he was with his daughter and Peterson as recently as last week, when they talked about going to Las Vegas, Nevada, and getting married.

Thursday night he spoke with his daughter after the arrest.

"My daughter was terrified, very emotional, upset," Ernie Raines said. "And I tried to tell her from the beginning that this was going to happen, be prepared."

Ernie Raines said more than anything, when he heard about the arrest, he was relieved.

"I'm glad justice finally came -- before he hurt my daughter," he said.

Police put Peterson's three minor children in the custody of the state's children and family service department. His adult son was contacted, at Peterson's request, to take them, according to Capt. Dobrich.

Dobrich said Peterson cooperated with police during his arrest.

Drew Peterson's Son: He's "Greatest Dad"

(yeah, cause I guess it's normal for a child to have numerous mothers dissapear on them one after another while evidence builds AGAINST your father)

(CBS/ AP) Despite assertions in a wrongful death lawsuit filed this week that Drew Peterson killed his third wife, Kathleen Savio, their son says he "highly" doesn't believe Peterson killed his mother.

Thomas Peterson, 16, also says Drew is the "greatest dad in the world."

Thomas, his 14-year-old brother, Kristopher, and Drew appeared on The Early Show Friday, along with the lawyer representing Savio's family, John Q. Kelly.

The suit, filed on behalf of Savio's estate, claims Peterson, a former Bolingbrook, Ill. police sergeant, drowned Savio in her bathtub in 2004.

Savio's family has long voiced suspicions about the circumstances surrounding her 2004 death, especially following the disappearance of Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy, in October 2007.

Peterson has been named a suspect in Stacy's disappearance, but hasn't been charged. Authorities haven't identified him as a suspect in Savio's death.

Peterson has denied any involvement in either case, and his attorney, Joel Brodsky, this week reiterated Peterson's innocence.

Savio's death, initially classified as an accidental drowning, was reclassified as a homicide after her body was exhumed and another autopsy conducted following Stacy Peterson's disappearance.

The lawsuit, filed by Savio's father and sister, was widely expected. Many of the allegations in it have been reported in the media since Stacy Peterson vanished.

The suit, filed in Will County, Ill., seeks more than $100,000 and alleges Peterson killed Savio before a scheduled trial over the divorced couple's property.

But Kelly told Early Show co-anchor Julie Chen Savio's father, Henry Savio, and sister, Anna Doman, don't stand to gain "one penny from the suit. "They have no financial interest in the lawsuit whatsoever. It's only for the estate and Kathleen's two minor children."

If the suit succeeds, Kelly explained, "All the assets that should have gone to the children originally, all the marital assets and things like that, would be properly segregated for the children. And Mr. Peterson would be taken to task and labeled for what he had done, causing (Savio's) death."

Peterson was given control over various assets "to use at his discretion, rather than segregate it to his children," Kelly noted.

Thomas Peterson told Chen he thinks the suit is "ridiculous. Because what they're trying to do, they're trying to take money from my dad and basically give it back to us. Now, do the math. He's got everything put into us as it is. So it just doesn't make sense to me."

Thomas says he doesn't remember ever even meeting his grandfather, Henry Savio, and hasn't seen his aunt, Doman, in six years, adding, "They've made no attempt of contacting me. So I haven't really seen them."

He also came to the defense of his father, saying, "Accidents happen all the time" and "I highly do not believe that my dad had murdered my mom. Because, first off, he wasn't there, he was with us during that period of time. I don't know what else to say. I don't believe it."

Thomas and Kristopher live with Drew, and Thomas says the intense media focus on Drew has been difficult to deal with: "It's been crazy, like, with the news media in front of my house all the time. And like, there really hasn't been much of an impact ever since my mom died, because nothing could be worse than that. But it's just made my childhood much harder."

As are, he said, suggestions that Drew killed Savio. "That's just making it even worse," Thomas remarked. "I'm seeing a lot of the world and a lot of the people's true motives."

What does he want to say to the public about his father?

"I would say that he's the greatest dad in the world. Not a lot of people know that. People see the news all the time and what everyone has portrayed him to be. But to our family -- no one could ask for a better dad."

Drew Peterson told Chen a woman who claimed at one point to be engaged to become his fifth wife no longer lives with him.

And Kelly, the lawyer for the Savios, added, "By all accounts these young men loved their mother. Their mother loved them. To see them thrust on national television to talk about her untimely death right now is unsettling, too."

He also noted that the family will probably wait for the results of a grand jury probe of Savio's death before pursuing the suit any further.

And She's Gone Again! Ha-HA!

BOLINGBROOK - Just a week ago, Drew Peterson and his much-younger fiancee were all lovey-dovey on the pages of People magazine.

Then she walked out on him. Again.

Neighbors spotted 24-year-old Christina Raines packing up and leaving Peterson on Friday afternoon.

Before leaving, Raines shouted to Peterson, "I'll be back for the rest of my stuff some time," said Peterson's neighbor, Sharon Bychowski, who watched the move.

Peterson lent a hand to his lady love as she moved out, Bychowski said, and the young woman's sister was also there.

When the two women departed, "Her sister whipped around the court (in her car)," Bychowski said. "'Agitated' is the word."

Raines, a single mother of two small children, took her kids to live with Peterson, 55, in January.

Not long after, Raines father, Ernie Raines, appeared on the "Dr. Phil" show to complain about his daughter's relationship with Peterson, whose third wife was killed and fourth wife disappeared.

In the wake of her father's TV appearance, Raines walked out on Peterson. A camera crew accompanied her father to record the break-up.

Then, in February, Raines and her children went back. But the romance apparently could not survive.

Peterson seemed to blame the press for this.

"Just the way you treated her in the media," Peterson griped. "It was out of line."

State police are investigating Peterson's possible role in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson. They consider the case a "potential homicide" and have named Drew Peterson their sole suspect.

The state police also are looking into the March 2004 apparent bathtub drowning of Peterson's third wife, Kathleen Savio.

At the time, state police found no sign of foul play and Savio's death was ruled accidental. But after Stacy vanished, Savio's death was reclassified as homicide, and the state police got another crack at figuring out who killed her.

Raines, who joked about Savio's death on a radio show, has not seemed troubled by the fate of Peterson's last two wives.

Paula Stark, who says she wore a wire at the behest of the state police to record Peterson in 2007 and 2008, was also around Peterson's home Friday afternoon and said she watched Raines pack and leave.

Bychowski and Stark said they did not see Raines' children when she moved out. Besides mixing their families - Peterson's four youngest children still live with him - the couple also picked up a small dog.

Raines apparently did not want to take along the dog, Missy, when she left.

"The poor little dog was left behind," Bychowski said.

Immunity Given To Peterson's Stepbrother!

March 6, 2009 (WLS) -- A possible key witness in the Drew Peterson investigation has reportedly been given immunity.
Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow approved the immunity for Peterson's stepbrother, Thomas Morphey, shortly after Stacy Peterson, Drew Peterson's fourth wife, disappeared in October of 2007.
But the Herald News reports Morphey has not gone before the grand jury. The paper reports that Morphey may have unwittingly acted as Peterson's accomplice when he helped haul away a blue barrel out of Peterson's home.
The paper says Morphey overdosed on sleeping pills after learning Stacy vanished and fears he had something to do with it.

Crazy- Peterson May Fight Christians's Ex?
Drew Peterson says West Coast promoters may set up a fight between him and his live-in girlfriend's ex-boyfriend.
It is the latest twist in a sideshow that's almost a year and a half old now.
Drew Peterson says he has been challenged to a fight by his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend.
"Let him put his money where his mouth is and see what he's got. Actually, he's been kind of nuisancy to her and the guy was stalking her."

Peterson's girlfried is Christina Raines, 24.
Trained as a police officer, 55-year-old Peterson says it's been 35 years since he was in a fight.
"I mean, it's going to be interesting watching me take on a guy 25 years my junior. But we'll see how it goes."
WBBM asked Peterson what he'd do with his share of the money: keep it or give it to charity.
"My biggest charity is my children. So if anything develops or if I make any money from it, anything would be for their future."
Peterson is a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife Stacy, and his third wife died under mysterious circumstances.

Drew Peterson: 'I Like Being Married'

Drew Peterson says he understands why his future fifth wife's loved ones are concerned for her safety. But Peterson, who is a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife Stacy and the death of his third wife Kathleen Savio in their Bolingbrook, Ill., home, said that "I'm a good guy."

Peterson's first two wives have complained about him being very controlling and, before her disappearance, Stacy allegedly told her minister that Peterson confessed to killing Savio.

"All of which didn't happen," Peterson told "Nightline" in his first interview since his engagement. "But I will acknowledge that I would have concerns if I was the friends and family of this young girl.

"She likes me. She likes me a lot," he said of his fiancée Christina Raines, 23. "I'm good to her and I treat her better than she's ever been treated."

Despite still being legally married to Stacy, Peterson, 55, says he is OK with getting remarried and is deeply in love. The couple haven't yet set a date, but Peterson says they'll wed this year. In the state of Illinois, Peterson can be granted a divorce on the basis of abandonment and is free to remarry if Stacy Peterson doesn't respond to a court submission within 30 days.

Yauk - the purported father of the two children of Drew Peterson's latest love interest - was taken into custody after failing to appear for a court date ordered as part of his guilty plea to a 2006 domestic battery.

Shae ~ I couldn't agree with you more,...I wouldn't want dinner or anything else with this guy !...But I think BJ hit the nail on the head. Christina has been in an abusive relationship, seems insecure and a bit naive...she also has two children to raise. She found some stability and financial security with Drew probably cause he is saying everything she wants to hear and treats her decently for the first time in her life.....which is his sick way to subtlety control her at first.
BUT he makes my skin crawl just to look at him and if you ever saw his arrogance on TV... it would make you scream at Christina at the top of your lungs that she picked the WRONG GUY...I hope she wakes up before it is too late !

Have any of you known girls/women that hook up with with a scumbag and even admitted that he was a jerk to his previous love interests but blamed his abusive actions on the women he was with...............they didn't understand him but I DO and no one gave him what he needed to feel like a real man but I WILL and on and on and on......... This was the first crime case I followed through websites and blogs. I live near Bolingbrook, too, so it got huge coverage here. I think what we've learned about KC's psychological pathology as far as narcissism and sociopathy apply perfectly here. It was immediatley obvious that he had felt on grief or loss at her "disappearance." His arrogance, I believe, stems from his belief that he knows the legal system inside and out and he will never be charged. He enjoys a sick sort of celebrity status at singles bars in his area -- it's sick.
He's found that sweeping these young or vulnerable women off their feet with big romantic gestures and showering them with attention plays to their low self-esteem and dazzles them. Also, in Stacy's case, she wanted nothing more than a ready-made stable family because of the trauma and chaos she'd grown up with.
The lucky women who survived to divorce him or break off relationships, reported abusive and controlling behaviors as well as flaunting his police authority with threats that he could kill them and make it look like an accident. There are several questionable "suicides" from the past that have connections with Drew as well. For many years Bolingbrook was a little village and he was part of a very small and tight police department -- who knows what he got away with in the past? He is a sexual predator and a murderer.

This man has a very public history. Are you telling me that this new nove interest doesn't know his history? She's apparently left an abusive man - why on Gods green earth would she hook up with another man whose been accused of killing two wives?
Then you take a look at her ex - he is no prize. She's 23? What? there aren't any fellows close to her age she could date? Something isn't right with this girl, uneducated? Mental defect? I dunno, but to shack up with a man with this much suspicion, and to bring your children into it, there's just gotta be something off about her.

Drew Peterson's Fiancee Moves Out After Father Issues Ultimatum

.......The couple has broken up. Peterson, 54, blames her father and the press.

"This is what the media always does to me," Armstrong quoted Peterson as saying. "As soon as the story got out on Chrissy, I knew it would be a problem for us."

Peterson admitted that his appearance on ABC's Nightline Thursday didn't help the situation.

In the segment, Peterson told the reporter, "I'd be wary of me too" when asked about Christina Raines' family and said that "when the romance is gone" in his relationships, he tends to have flings and move on.

Man with Peterson Ties Jailed

First the mother of your children moves in with a man whose last wife is missing and the one before that murdered, then you get arrested and locked up for the next 50 days.
Suffice to say, it has been a tough couple weeks for Sohka Yauk.

Yauk - the purported father of the two children of Drew Peterson's latest love interest - was taken into custody after failing to appear for a court date ordered as part of his guilty plea to a 2006 domestic battery.

The plea deal saw Yauk, 26, sentenced to 26 days in the county jail. He also was fined, ordered to attend domestic battery counseling and forbidden to make "offensive contact" with the victim of the battery, who happens to be 24-year-old Christina Raines, reportedly Peterson's fiancee.
No proof of paternity

Raines and her two children moved in with Peterson and four of his six children about a week and a half ago. On Jan. 17, Yauk called Bolingbrook police and told them he wanted to see the two children, ages 4 and 5, saying they were his and that he had visitation rights, said Lt. Ken Teppel, the department spokesman.

Since Yauk had no visitation order or proof of paternity, police took no action, Teppel said.
There was nothing for the Bolingbrook police to do about the matter last week, but the county police got busy with Yauk after he missed his court date Thursday. It was not the first one he had failed to appear for, said Charles B. Pelkie, spokesman for the state's attorney's office. Yauk did show up later in the day with an excuse for his absence.
The judge was not buying it, and Yauk was hauled off to jail. He was sentenced to 140 days in jail, but with time previously served and day-for-day credit, he should be out in about 50 days.

Drew Talks About His, Hers and Theirs

Drew Peterson told WBBM radio's Steve Miller that "there is harmonious bliss at the Peterson household" since his new girlfriend and her two children moved into his home.

Christina Raines, 24, has been in Peterson's Bolingbrook home for almost a week and she's still there. That's good news.

"I've been lucky ... in cards and lucky in love," he said. "To have the love of a young, beautiful woman is a very special thing."

The former Bolingbrook police sergeant said that the Raines' children get along well with his kids, and that the two of them are planning to get married "somewhere down the road."

Miller asked if Peterson had given Raines an engagement ring. Drew said no, but that he had given her a pair of earrings for Christmas. A jeweler friend will be consulted about an engagement ring at some point, he said.

"We'll have to see how life folds out," he said of their wedding plans.

Peterson told the interviewer that his gal pal is a little scared.

"She's not scared of me. She's scared of the media," he said.

Miller asked about problems Christina has had with her ex-boyfriend and the father of her children, "two different guys," he said.

"Yea, two different guys," Peterson said. "Both have been abusive to her in the past, and now she's with me."

...So she went from bad to WORSE. WAY WORSE.

Dad Afraid Daughter Will be Drew's Next Wife

Drew Peterson, under a cloud of suspicion since his 23-year-old fourth wife vanished more than a year ago, has popped the question to another young woman -- drawing anguished pleas from a Chicago father convinced his daughter is the one.

"That ain't going to happen," Ernie Raines said. "I'm doing everything I can to try to get her away from him. . . . I'd like to say to him: Stay away from my daughter, take his ring back and look for his wife before he's out trying to get another young girl."

Peterson's lawyer confirmed the 54-year-old former Bolingbrook police sergeant is engaged to be married. Peterson refused to say who accepted his proposal, but denied that it's Raines' daughter Christina, 24.

Christina Raines, a waitress, also denied that she's the one, saying she's friends with Peterson but never dated him or got a marriage proposal.

But a police source said she is the bride-to-be, and her father insists, "It's her."

Ernie Raines said his daughter is trying to avoid the publicity that has followed Peterson since his wife, Stacy, disappeared in October 2007. Peterson has been named as a suspect in her "potential homicide" and is being investigated in the 2004 homicide of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.

Ernie Raines said his daughter told him about Peterson's proposal when he spotted a ring on her finger Friday.

"I said, 'You need to take that back. If you don't want to, I will,' " said Ernie Raines, 53. "I said, why would you want to marry someone like that anyway? He's my age for Christ's sake."

Christina Raines said her dad's got it wrong -- it was just a friendship ring from someone else. She said she doesn't know who Peterson plans to marry.

Joel Brodsky, Peterson's defense attorney, said, without naming names, "Yeah, he proposed and she accepted. I guess he's got to get divorced."

On Wednesday morning, a sleepy Peterson seemed irked that news of his engagement had leaked. "I can't believe this is happening," he said. "How the f - - - did this get out?"

Peterson said several female friends called him Wednesday to complain they were being questioned by news reporters.

"I've got calls from three or four women saying the media is bothering them," Peterson said. "They're bothering everybody I've known since third grade."

He said he wants to keep details of his new love under wraps.

"Last time I had a relationship, you guys screwed it all up," he said, referring to tanning salon worker Kim Matuska, 22. "The police had her, the grand jury had her. I'm not putting her through all that."

Peterson said he does not believe his marital status should prevent him from becoming engaged. "I was married to Kathleen when I was engaged to Stacy," he said.

Ernie Raines said he and his daughter met Peterson at a Bolingbrook laundromat years ago, and that she has been friendly with him for months. Peterson has brought her roses, taken her to "Blue Man Group," promised to buy her a car and even autographed a book for him, Ernie Raines said.

Concerned about Peterson -- "I don't want a third one to come up missing" -- Ernie Raines said he drove to Peterson's house last month to "let him know that I'm here, that I'm around, that I know where he lives."

He said Peterson asked him, "Did you get my book?"

"We talked, I said, 'You know me, I'd kill for my kids, you know that,' " Ernie Raines said. "He told me: 'I will never do nothing to hurt your daughter, that's why I didn't put her name out.' "

Ernie Raines thinks his daughter sees security with Peterson. "He's got a house. He's got money."

But, as a father, he sees troubles.

"I said, if you don't answer your [cell] phone, don't worry about it," Raines said. "I'll drive my Cadillac right through his house."

Christina Raines, Drew Peterson's "live-in" fiancé, gave a comment on their new living arrangement through Drew Peterson that she was "happy moving in. I don't want to speak with the media."

In an exclusive taped interview with Derek Armstrong, author of Drew Peterson Exposed, Peterson said the move was precipitated by a confrontation with "Chrissy's" ex-boyfriend. Peterson confirmed Stacy's clothes had been "packed away" clearing room in the master closet for Christina.

"We went shopping yesterday for bunk beds for the kids. Now there are two princesses in the princess room," Peterson said in the interview. Chrissy's two children by a previous boyfriend, are the same ages as Peterson's two children with Stacy Peterson-his young wife who has been missing since October of 2007. "Chrissy's kids are great. A boy and a girl. My kids have new pals." When asked by Armstrong about the many pictures of Stacy Peterson in the house, Peterson replied, "They're still up. My kids have a right to their memories."

Peterson said he had plenty of room in the house for "Chrissy" and two more kids. He said his four children get along very well with her two children. "My kids adore Chrissy." This comment hauntingly mirrors a comment in the book Drew Peterson Exposed, when he said, "My kids adore Stacy," at that time referring to Kris and Tommy, his children with third wife Kathleen. Peterson is a "person of interest" in the death of Kathleen.

In the book Drew Peterson Exposed, Armstrong described Peterson's many younger girlfriends and wives. Many of those intimate stories offer disconcertingly similar scenarios to his current relationship. When asked about all his stories of younger women-peppered throughout the explosive book-Peterson just said, "That was then. It has nothing to do with Chrissy."

The ex boyfriend of Christina Raines, Drew Peterson's new 23-year-old fiancé, allegedly boasted about stalking the Peterson house last night. Raines' father Ernie was concerned enough to call the police, who checked on Peterson's welfare.


"This guy is insanely jealous," Peterson said in an exclusive taped interview with Derek Armstrong. "He won't leave her alone. A couple of nights ago he was abusive enough that she had to leave their shared apartment with her two children." Peterson also described an event about a month ago at a public bar where ex-boyfriend Mike physically pulled her away from Peterson. "He can get physical and he's definitely verbally abusive. He even stole the token ring I gave Chrissie when I proposed."
