Nancy Grace Blog: Anthony Defense Strategy Revealed!

From Episode: Tuesday, April 28, 2009
5:30 PM ET - Do Casey Anthony's lawyers have an explanation for those disturbing photos of tot mom partying after Caylee goes missing, her shopping sprees allegedly using her friend's checking account and the chloroform found in tot mom's car? Reports are Jose Baez is comparing tot mom to a military widow accused of poisoning her Marine husband then going out on sex and shopping sprees using her dead husband's insurance money. The widow, Cynthia Sommer, would go on to be released from jail after it's determined her husband was not poisoned after all. Does Baez plan to use the Sommer's case as an example of how someone's erratic behavior after the death of a loved one does not prove they committed murder? (From Stacey Newman, Nancy Grace Producer)

1:30 PM ET - Taxpayers are still shelling out money and will continue to do so in the Caylee Anthony murder case. This time, tax dollars are funding a lawyer for the utility meter reader who discovered Caylee's remains. Already costing $10,000, Roy Kronk reportedly needs more even more money to get ready for the murder case. Kronk undergoing multiple police interviews and fighting tot mom's lawyers who want his personal cell phone records. Kronk is asking Orange County for another $2,500 and that number could keep growing. (From Stacey Newman, Nancy Grace Producer)

Breaking News: Professor Sought After 3 Shot Dead Near UGA

(CNN) -- Police are looking for a University of Georgia professor in the shooting deaths of three people on Saturday, authorities tell CNN.

Sonny Wilson, Athens-Clarke County coroner, confirmed three people were dead, but couldn't provide identities.

UGA is in Athens, but university spokesman Pete Konenkamp said the shootings did not happen on campus.

Information about the shooting was disseminated through a campus-wide alert, which identified professor George Zinkhan as a shooting suspect.

"George Zinkhan is a white male in his mid-50s with a goatee or beard. ... He was last seen wearing a polo shirt, blue shorts, and a backpack. He was last thought to be in a red car in the area of Prince Avenue," the alert said.

CNN affiliate WSB-TV said the people were shot behind The Taylor-Grady House, a National Historic Landmark on Prince Avenue.

Zinkhan teaches in the department of marketing and distribution at the Terry College of Business, according to the UGA Web site.

The incident is being investigated by Athens-Clarke County police, with campus police assisting.

My E-Mail to CNN HLN

"I'm wondering if anyone on the show was onto the fact that Casey Anthony uploaded and resized/visited a picture of an apple rotted away to shape a SKULL? And this right around the time little Caylee would've been dumped? I found it while digging through the case's photobucket timelines on http://www.websleuths.com, and using that info I put together an article here on crimsearchersonline.com about it:

http://crimesearchersonline.com/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=31&func=view&catid=38&id=4613

There should be enough source info to provide authenticity to this, but I'm surprised I haven't heard about it on the show. I'd love to have it shared on air, because I feel it'd be one more huge nail in Casey Anthony's coffin."

Could It REALLY BE A Friday 13th Prank??

I've been following tids and bits of the Amber Dubois case, and remember hearing on Nancy Grace this week that it was suspected that Amber's dissapearance on the 13th of Febuary could be a prank of some sort by fellow classmates.. Nancy threw that theory out the window saying it was unsubstantialized and stupid, and I did at first, but then I read this:

New Lead In Missing Amber Dubois Case

Escondido police are looking into new tip Saturday evening. Tipster said Amber was seen walking with a tall boy on the day she went missing.
"They are thinking it was a high school student. They want to make sure. They want to talk to him and no one has come forward yet," Amber's mother said. (source)
Three teens reported in area were offered a ride home from school by a man in a small white compact vehicle, said Lt. Bob Benton.
In all three cases, the man approached the teen girls just after 3 p.m., he said
Benton said "it is too early to know if these incidents are connected to the disappearance the Amber Dubois".
One girl was in the 1400 block of Oakhill Street, and another was at Boyle and Rose Street, he said. The third location was unavailable.
When the girls declined a ride, the man drove off, Benton said.
The may be a Honda or Toyota, he said. The partial license plate is"5W00" or "5WWM," Benton said.
The man was described as a white man in his early 20s, with eye glasses and short dark hair, Benton said (source)

It's CNN, Bitches!!

SOOO excited coming into work today, not only do we have two huge flat-screen TVs installed here at work, one up front and one in the back for the stylists.
..At first I was weary, thinking it'd be hair-cutting instructing videos on loop- but when the telly popped on BAM! -CNN HLN (Headline News). So excited to see that- only wish is Nancy Gracy would be on in the morning.
I can still keep covered on my Caylee Anthony updates, and any other missing children news that happens to pop up during the duration of my workday.
I'm such a geek, was totally thrilled and excited and obviously showing it, haha!
