Caylee Anthony One Year Memorial

Today is one year from the last day little Caylee was seen alive- if her grandfather, George Anthony was correct in saying that he saw her mother Casey leave with her that morning.

She's always on my mind just as strong a year later, and am patiently awaiting for justice to be served once the trial begins Oct 12th.

Today George and Cindy went on ABC's The Early Show (again), and pledged themselves to helping other missing children.

"Yesterday was a tough day. Today is a tough day. Every day has been a tough day," Cindy Anthony said during her interview on CBS' The Early Show.

"We just miss her so much."

Rest In Peace, little Caylee..

Casey Anthony's Parents Say 'No' Plea Deal

In a sit down interview together for the first time since their granddaugher, Caylee Anthony's remains were found, George and Cindy Anthony continue to publicly defended their daughter, saying that Casey had nothing to with Caylee's death.

"I don't think it's possible for my daughter to hurt anyone," George said, "And she wouldn't definitely hurt her own child. I mean, my gosh, I've seen the love every single day that she had for her. She took care of her being with us. So, I mean, she wouldn't hurt her."

The parents said they don't believe their daughter should accept a plea deal, despite the fact State Attorney's Office announced they will pursue the death penalty for Casey Anthony.

"Absolutely not," said Cindy, "I don't think Casey will take a plea deal. Casey is not going to admit for something she hasn't done. We love our daughter. We stand behind her. We know what kind of mother she was.
I don't really believe that her defense team is going to do anything to jeopardize anything in the future for her, said Casey's dad, So ... we have to wait and see what plays out. I don't believe that's going to happen with her. "

They appear eager to participate with The Early Show co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez up to the point when Rodriguez wanted to know why Cindy told authorities Casey's car smelled like a dead body had been in it?

The Anthony's lawyer, Brad Conway spoke on the couple's behalf:
"Maggie, those are issues that are going to come up at trial. And they're anxiously awaiting that. And there's been so much pretrial publicity that's going to affect the ultimate outcome and her ability to get a fair trial. So the questions that have to do with the statements that they gave, they want to wait and tell the truth in front of a jury and let a jury decide. "

Cindy replied, "She's presumed innocent...I think the truth will come out at trial, and that's what we have to wait for. You know, the defense is going to do their job. We're confident that they're going to do their job. And, you know, they'll be able to see for themselves that it's -- there's more to it. "
