The Infamous Lightning Shot

This is one sick picture that my cousin Patrick happened to capture!
I was telling him he couldn't time it well enough to capture a bolt, then BAM!

Video from that storm here:

The first video is actually hilarious with the way I respond to the scary-close lightning- check it out 10 seconds in!

Binney Park Series, Lol.

First painting in the "Binney Park" series:

And, the second:
Even though I had already signed the last one, I want to work on it..
Such as making the outline of the trunk white, instead of the green. - I should go with that since the first one has it..
The second painting is a also significantly smaller canvas, as well.
Also, maybe I should put reflection into the water and make the sky solid, like the first painting.
I didn't even realize when painting I was doing the opposite, haha.

My Finished(?) Painting

I only add the (question mark) because I'm wondering if I need anything else done to it.. Everyone's telling me to leave it but there are things I wanted to fine tune.

Any suggestions?

I Like This Picture.

I was googling older photos of Stamford, CT as per boss's request at work..
I found these pictures from the "Blizzard of 1888", and for some reason enjoy looking at them. Brilliant!

Look at the woman's figure in the foreground- the snow passes her head!

Bruce Museum & Pomerance

So I took some pretty pictures taken while out biking today:

The first shot was actually an accident- I was tipping over on my bike! A man was walking two dogs, one of them barked and scared me while I was trying to take a shot of the pond, like the second picture.

And I visited a sculpture exhibit over at Bruce Museum:

Look familiar? It's Connecticut coast line =]

(I really wasn't supposed to be photographing the last two ;] )

Loving the New Spring

My uncle's dog is funny. (We were playing a playground next door to my uncle's house.)

This is AWESOME:

Going to throw in this older one from the end of March from our backyard, because I'm not sure if I added it previously:

Then I took these lovely shots out of Stamford today:
