Octomom Sued By Gloria Allred for Exploiting Her Babies

She's exploiting them? Really? No shit!
Los Angeles- OctoMom Nadya Suleman is pimping out her eight babies without proper consideration of their interests, a new petition in Orange County, Calif., claims.

Gloria Allred, the celeb lawyer behind the suit, said Monday that the babies deserve a court-appointed guardian - and a separate theatrical agent - to make sure their options are fully "explored" and that they get their fair share of any booty generated by their fame.

"Rather than choosing to provide her children with a normal life," Allred said, "Nadya Suleman, has chosen instead to commercially exploit them, and it appears she plans to continue commercial exploitation of them in the future as well."

"Since she has chosen this path," Allred continued, "we believe that the babies are entitled to remuneration."

The suit, filed by Allred on behalf of former child actor and child labor advocate Paul Petersen, has a hearing set for June 22. Allred and Petersen also sent a letter to California labor officials asking for an investigation into the media mayhem at Suleman's new two-story house in La Habra, Calif.

Allred argued that filming of the infants by media outlets with paid contracts violates child labor laws. She said Suleman may have run afoul of the infants' rights when she allowed a video crew to film two of the octuplets from 10 p.m. until 11:50 p.m. on March 17, the night they arrived home from the hospital.

A video taken inside the octuplets' nursery on March 17 later appeard on RadarOnline.com. RadarOnline is owned by American Media, the company that also owns the National Enquirer and Star magazine.

It's not clear whether the filming was protected by first amendment laws.

"If a media organization has bought and paid for special access to these children in a way that legitimately can be construed as compensation to them for their services, then it may be that labor laws come into play," said Peter Scheer, a lawyer and executive director of the California First Amendment Coalition.

"But it wouldn't come into play if other news organizations were to be permitted by the parent to enter the house and interview and take photographs of the children with consent."

Allred and Petersen also questioned Suleman's plan to include the babies in a documentary-style reality TV series produced by a European company.

Suleman's lawyer Jeff Czech could not be reached for comment.

Octo-Mom Visited by Child Services

I am hating this woman more and more by the day..
LOS ANGELES - The OctoMom is playing down reports that police and child welfare officials visited her house Wednesday to investigate an allegation of neglect.

Her 4-year-old autistic son Aidan arrived at school with a black eye and a bite mark on his back, she said, but she's not to blame.

"He has a bite mark on his back, from this guy," Nadya Suleman said, pointing to one of her 2-year-old twins during a video interview with RadarOnline.

The mother of 14 - who's working on contracts for a TV documentary and a book deal - said Aidan got the black eye when he hit his face on a desk.

"He has meltdowns," she said. "It's normal to have meltdowns. He throws himself down."

She said Aidan's teacher called authorities after she failed to respond to a note inquiring about the injuries. She said the welfare officials actually complimented her on running a tight ship.

"They just wanted to check the kids. Oh, they said that they're shocked at how everything is so organized. And that we're doing a good job," she said, adding that she doesn't even believe in spanking.

La Habra police spokeswoman Cindy Knapp confirmed that officers visited Suleman at the request of child welfare officials.

Orange County Social Services spokeswoman TerryLynn Fischer said her department can't confirm or deny the visit or any potential follow-up actions.

"When people go into that house, they're expecting kids swinging from the rafters. But it's an organized house. Those eight babies, for starters, are very good babies," Suleman's attorney Jeff Czech told the Daily News. "There are one or two nannies taking care of the big kids. And the babies have a couple nannies, too."

He said he assumes county officials will follow up with Suleman soon.

"Some people are mandated to report, and Nadya understands that. She's not worried about it," he said.

Police have said they've made several visits to Suleman's home in the last year to respond to calls about lost or poorly supervised children.

Suleman, 33, gained international fame after giving birth to octuplets on Jan. 26.

The world later learned that the single, unemployed mother was living at home with her parents and used in-vitro fertilization to conceive the octuplets and her six other children, ages 2 to 7.

More Details On The Octo-Mom Reality Show!

Straight from perez:
"We reported earlier this week of loud whisperings of a reality TV program featuring Nadya Suleman and her family of 14, and the Octo-Army reality freakshow is now one step closer to hitting the airwaves!

Sources close to the Octo-Mom say Suleman and attorney Jeffery Czech shopped the pitch around town, meeting with four different production companies this week alone!

"There's some decisions for her to make over the next few days. I think she's heard enough," Czech explained on behalf of his client.

The production companies have suggested various scenarios for the Octo-Mom to tackle in the show: learning to drive a van fit for 14, family holidays and, of course, Octopussy's search for love!

It's also been reported that Suleman and Czech will be meeting with big wigs at an unnamed network as soon as next week!!

Says Czech of the Octo-Mom's desire to be on national television: "Like anyone else, she wants to be portrayed in a positive light and she feels she needs to do something to get her side out."

Reality television is never the solution to mending a tarnished reputation!!!

Just ask Dina Lohan!"

Octo Mom's New Publicist Quits: "This Woman Is Nuts"

Octo Mom Nadya Suleman is without a publicist -- again.

Victor Munoz tells Usmagazine.com that he quit as Suleman's rep Friday night.

"It just got to be too much," he says. "It's pretty much a free for all over there right now. They are freaking out right now.

"Not to sound arrogant, but those people depended on me for everything," he continues. "You have no idea what I’ve had to do for these people.

"Nadya got real greedy. This woman is nuts," he adds. "This I can say: what ultimately destroyed the business arrangement was personal reasons."

Munoz -- who plans to meet with his lawyers Monday to go over the terms of his contract and confidentiality clause -- did not go into further detail.

Suleman's first publicist, Joann Killeen, stepped down after her firm received over 100 graphic e-mail and voicemail threats.

"They'd put me in the wood chipper and throw me in the bottom of the ocean and hope I die," Killeen has said. "We've gotten her through the worst part of it and now they are putting their venom and anger toward us."

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating.

Yeah, This Is Why She Needed To Go Have 8 More Children

WHITTIER, Calif. (AP) — Octuplet mother Nadya Suleman became unhinged with fear last year when she thought she had lost one of her children, repeatedly telling an emergency dispatcher, "Oh God, I'm going to kill myself," according to a recording of her 911 call released Wednesday by police.

Suleman made the call Oct. 27 after her 5-year-old son went missing from the front yard, only to find him a few minutes later after he returned from a walk.

Suleman's repeated threats of suicide prompted a chiding from the dispatcher, who could hear children's voices in the background.

"Don't say that in front of your other child, OK?" the dispatcher tells Suleman. "Keep yourself under control for your other child; he doesn't need to hear that."

Suleman, an unemployed single mother, has come under scrutiny since giving birth to octuplets Jan. 26 when she already had six other children, ages 2 to 7. Talk show hosts, celebrities and others have weighed in on the topic, with some questioning her ability to look after 14 children.

The dramatic call Suleman made three months before the octuplets' birth resulted in a police visit to her home in Whittier, about 15 miles east of Los Angeles. It was among 8 visits authorities have made to the house in the last 14 months.

The 911 tape begins with Suleman repeatedly asking the operator, "Where's my son?" before she provides an address or any information. She eventually tells the operator she hadn't seen Joshua Jacob for an hour and he had been playing in the front yard, and she feared he was kidnapped.

The call ended with Suleman sobbing hysterically upon finding the child, saying, "He went on a walk and came back by himself."

Police and the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services visited Suleman's home in July in response to a complaint that the children appeared poorly cared for, but both agencies determined the complaint was unfounded.

Suleman, in an interview with RadarOnline.com, said the neighbor who alerted police was unhappy because her family was loud and she allowed her children to play in the mud.

Police also once visited the home to let a child out of a locked bedroom.

Octo-Mom Giving Birth, The Video: Coming Soon!

"So we don't know what's worse here..

The fact that someone was filming Octo-Mom's birth, the fact that the video is being shopped around with a whopping 7 figure price tag, or the fact that someone might actually buy it, which means that someone will watch it.

Either way, the video is on the market, and Nadya has 14 mouths to feed!
Is it really worth a million or more, though???"

EWWWWW PLEASE, NO!

Octomom Gets $1 Million Porn Offer From Vivid Entertainment (Obviously they're hard-up for material... [no pun intended..])

Vivid Entertainment has made a $1 million offer to Nadya Suleman to make a pornographic video.

In an offer letter obtained by TMZ.com, the president of the pornography studio and distributor Steven Hirsch says the company would release the film under their "Vivid-Celeb imprint, which has released titles starring such personalities as Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashian, and most recently, former Miss USA Kelli MCarty."

The site also reports that the company is offering her family dental and health care if she agrees to star in a series of films.

Suleman, 33, known as "Octomom" after giving birth to octuplets earlier this year, has reportedly not replied to the request.

YOU STUPID DOG!

FAKE!! How could you spend all that money plumping your stupid looking lips to look like Angelina Jolie while your six kids are on welfare??? Then save MORE money with in-vetro to get pregnant for your seventh baby- knowing it could result in more than one birth? The economy itself is bad, but to try to purposely have so many children, surviving on your income (which is now ca-poot being as you have 14 children to look after) is just insane. She's obviously looking to live off of the general public's opinion, and after watching TLC too much she must've realized how much money she could make off of her own TV show. EFF HER!!

A New Bloggin' Beginning

I've had some blogs in the past- deadjournal, livejournal, etc.. I've been able to keep up with them for a while, but it'd be nice to hold onto one for a very long time and refer back to it years to come- hopefully this is that one!
This will be a good place for me to post my thoughts on current news issues- I've been keeping a physical scrapbook of news articles that interest me lately but it's good to get something going online.
Caylee Anthony has captured the majority of my attention lately- it's enthralling and strangely addictive once you get accquainted with some of the facts of the case.. If anyone out there is reading my blog I'm sure there will be a lot of articles to come regarding Casey (the mother)'s court case and hopefully one day I'll have the pleasure of posting "Casey's GUILTY!!!!"

The octo-mom is very interesting also- can't wait to vent my feelings on that psycho.
And who can forget the chimp from Stamford who recently tried to tear off his owner's friend's face- scary as hell!
