STAMFORD - Police say a Stamford man will appear before a judge tomorrow on charges that he allegedly went on a rampage with a stolen truck last month.
According to police, Chris Simonelli, 30, struck 14 vehicles, including a school bus filled with students, when he drove a box truck down Main Street. They say 22 people were injured in the incident.
Simonelli's attorney, Lindy Urso, says his client will be taken into custody from the hospital, where he is still recovering from two broken legs. He says Simonelli has no recollection of what happened.
Urso says Simonelli will be taken to the University of Connecticut Medical Center in Farmington to begin rehabilitation following his court appearance.
