It figures... (Ooops!)
STAMFORD - Cleanup volunteers in Stamford discovered a grenade in Mill River Park today.
The grenade was found at around 11 o'clock. The volunteers initially thought the object was a broken bottle covered in mud.
Police say the Bomb squad was called in and the grenade was taken away to be X-rayed and possibly detonated.
