Ugh, is that Beetlejuice (from Howard Stern)'s sister on the right?
AOL- Police in Fort Wayne, Ind. have arrested Aaron S. Stefanski, 29, alleging he drove out of a liquor store parking lot with four children strapped to the hood of his car.
Stefanski had a blood alcohol content of .17, more than twice Indiana's legal limit, according to police. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and neglect of a dependent. His passenger, Jessica A. Clark, of Fort Wayne, also faces a neglect charge.
On Monday evening, witnesses stay Stefanski used a tow strap to secure the children, ages 4, 5, 6 and 7 and believed they would enjoy the experience. The journey lasted for three blocks. A U.S. marshal who happened to be driving in the neighborhood, pulled the vehicle over and called the police.
The kids had been secured, "with one of those straps you crank on a semi to hold down lumber, they were strapped with that thing, wiggling and wobbling down the street," witness Tom Nowak tells the Journal Gazette of Fort Wayne.
The newspaper reported the children were uninjured, and that more charges could come, as the incident is still under investigation from the Fort Wayne Police Department, Department of Child Services and the Allen County Prosecutor's Office.
Three of the children were related, according to television station WLKY, and are now home with their mother, who was unaware of the unusual transportation arrangement until police called.
