Paper Carrier Spots Two Bodies

ECONOMY, Pa. -- Police in Beaver County are investigating the deaths of a couple found dead in their front yard, while their children were inside the home.

Channel 4 Action News' Amber Nicotra reported investigators believe the deaths in Economy Borough are the result of a murder-suicide.

A newspaper carrier found the bodies of Sean and Natalie Wain in the front yard of their Second Avenue home on Sunday morning and ran to a neighbor's home for help.

When officers arrived, they said they found a gun under the body of 34-year-old Sean Wain.

Police said they believe he shot and killed his 33-year-old wife before turning the gun on himself.
Neighbor Dale Durick said he never expected anything like this from the family.

"Very quiet. You never knew they were here. I mean, they would wave to you, you would see them walking their dog as a family. They'd cut the grass; When the kids played outside, all the kids played outside," Durick said.

The couple had four children, three of whom were home at the time of the shooting but were not hurt. The family's oldest child was at a friend's house at the time of the shooting.

The children are staying with relatives, Nicotra reported.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
