R.I.P. Jack John Covello

Although it didn't publish into the papers, Jack took his own life at Grass Island, in Greenwich. We heard the police scanner call for all units to report to the scene at the mens' bathroom, they must've called for all units after finding a gun, not couting out foul play.

Greenwich Time Obituary:
Jack John Covello, 62 of Greenwich passed away on November 6, 2010. He was born in Greenwich on September 13, 1948 to the late Frank and Marion (Pike) Covello. Jack attended Greenwich Public Schools. For many years he worked for Putnam Trust in Greenwich and recently was working as a Dispatcher for Bria Carting Company. Jack was an avid golfer and had won two Town Golf Tournaments. He enjoyed playing all sports.

Jack is survived by a son Mark Covello, his sister Maureen Covello, his brother Mark Covello, and his loving companion Lori Lorenzoni. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by three brothers; Frank Covello, Michael Covello, and Danny Covello. There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Friday November 12th at 12:00PM at the Castiglione Funeral Home, Inc., 134 Hamilton Ave. in Greenwich. Burial will be private.
