Woman Arrested in Fatal Hit-and-Run

(11/04/10) NEW CANAAN - New Canaan police say they've arrested a woman in connection with a deadly hit-and-run.

Police say Kate Regan, 32, of New Canaan, turned herself in after learning there was a warrant out for her arrest.

As News 12 reported, police say Jayaraman Krishna, 82, was hit while getting his mail on August 18th.

He died later that day at the hospital.

Police were able to identify the SUV they say hit Krishna then tracked down Regan. They say she is out on $10,000 bond and is due in court Nov. 17.
