ROWAYTON - Residents in Norwalk got the chance to catch a glimpse of a Hollywood movie in the making this week.
The Tyler Perry film "We the Peeples" was shooting at the Rowayton Market on Rowayton Avenue today. The crew changed the market to look like the Ship's Ahoy Market in Sag Harbor, N.Y.
Producer Stephanie Allain says the film came to Norwalk instead of filming in the Hamptons because Connecticut offers film tax credits.
The Rowayton Market will return to business as usual tomorrow, but the film crew says it will be around town for a few more days. It says it also plans to shoot some scenes in Greenwich and Darien.
