The State of Connecticut is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the 2001 homicide of KELSEY MONAHON of Milford.Ms. Monahon, age 28, was assaulted in her home on Bittersweet Avenue in Milford on May 25, 2001, and died from her injuries three days later. The case has been actively investigated since but police have not been able to develop sufficient evidence to make an arrest.
A reward of up to $50,000 was authorized by Governor M. Jodi Rell for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
The reward was requested by Kevin D. Lawlor, the State's Attorney for the Judicial District of Ansonia-Milford.
It is the hope of the State's Attorney and the Milford Police Department that the reward will generate new leads resulting in an arrest and conviction in this case.
